2019 Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) Art Contest for Nigerians

The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) invites Nigerians of all ages to participate in an art contest with the theme “2050: Nigeria of our Dreams”.
The Nigerian Economic Summit Group is non-profit, non-partisan private sector think tank with a mandate to promote and champion the reform of the Nigerian economy into an open, globally competitive economy
THEME: “2050: NIGERIA OF OUR DREAMS”
Participants are to draw inspiration from at least one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Which are:
No Poverty
Zero Hunger
Good Health and Well-being
Quality Education
Gender Equality
Clean Water and Sanitation
Affordable and Clean Energy
Decent Work and Economic Growth
Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure
Reducing Inequality
Sustainable Cities and Communities
Responsible Consumption and Production
Climate Action
Life Below Water
Life On Land
Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions
Partnerships for the Goals.
Entries are encouraged from: Visual Artists (photographers, illustrators, sculptors, graphic designers, etc.) Architects, Filmmakers, Animators, Afro Centrists, Performing artists (Poets and spoken word artists) Fashion designers, etc.
ELIGIBILITY
1. All content must be original and suitable for viewing by persons of all age
2. Submissions created by two or more creators will score higher
3. All works must be submitted in hi-resolution Jpeg formats (1920×1080).
4. Video and interactive formats represent any of the following media: short film, traditional animation, vector-based animation, 3D animation, motion
5. Entries must reflect positive and achieveable projections of Nigeria’s future
6. Participants should submit their works before the closing date for entries which is 6th of September, 2019
BENEFITS
1. WIN CASH PRIZES: All shortlisted artworks and videos will be rewarded with cash and other prizes.
2. EXHIBITION: Selected artworks will be exhibited at the 25th Nigerian Economic Summit, October 2019 to top Private, Public and Developmental Officials.
3. POTENTIAL TO INSPIRE: Only through collaborative efforts can our nation and her people grow. Your work will inspire imagination towards Nigeria’s Development.
4. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG): Your vision and creativity will aid the overall blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all Nigerians.
