Balm in Gilead Foundation for Sustainable Development (BIGIF) is currently recruiting community-level gender advocates to support and sustain its ongoing Gender Equality Advocacy and Women Empowerment Program. The program is titled “PROTECT WOMEN’S RIGHTS AND PROMOTE GENDER EQUALITY THROUGH STRENGTHENED ADVOCACY AND LOBBY CAPACITY OF LOCAL NGOs AND RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS”

 

ELIGIBILITY

1. Applicant MUST reside in the selected LGA of action

2. Applicants who are active on social media are encouraged

3. Female applicants are encouraged

4. Selected applicants will be expected to attend 2-day training in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria in October, 2019,

 

BENEFITS

1. 2days immersion Training for Gender Advocates (fully funded) in October, 2019.

2. Other Capacity Building Opportunities.

3. Access to local and international networks for growth and linkage to opportunities.

4. Access to supports for community project in October, 2019.

5. Support for participation in “BIGIF 16 for 16 Days Campaign” from November, 2019.

6. Support to Participate in BIGIF Annual Public Lecture 2019 and other relevant Conferences.

7. Increase Visibility for Advocates.
