The Mandela Rhodes Foundation offers young leaders from across the African continent a chance to become part of Nelson Mandela’s legacy of transformative impact.

They offer a life-changing opportunity for personal growth via a prestigious postgraduate scholarship and Leadership Development Programme, for those who want to use their talents to serve Africa.

ELIGIBILITY

1.  Applicant between the ages of 19 and 29 at the time of applying.
2. Students who are citizens of an African country, no matter where they are currently living or studying, are eligible. 
3.  You must be academically strong: your marks should be above 70% or an upper second. You must also have demonstrated leadership on your campus or in your community.

SELECTION CRITERIA

 They look for young Africans who have demonstrated the potential to embody our founding principles of reconciliation, education, entrepreneurship, and leadership. You must have already assumed leadership and made an impact on your campus or community.
