2020 Obama Foundation Spring Internship

The Obama Foundation draws on a diverse cohort of passionate, mission-oriented, and qualified interns to serve in our Chicago and D.C. offices. This internship is open to current undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates who are eligible to work in the United States.

The intern selected to support our Legal Department will commit to a (20 hours per week) part-time schedule to be determined with the General Counsel team (for the same start and end dates) and will receive a stipend and/or academic credit, dependant upon the requirements as determined by the intern’s law school.

 

ELIGIBILITY

1. Current full-time or part-time undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent graduates authorized to work off-campus in the United States are welcome to apply.

RESPONSIBILITY

1. They are looking for interns who have excellent time management and organizational skills, are strong writers and researchers, and are eager to work in a fast-paced office environment.

2. Interns will play a key role in providing departments at the Obama Foundation with the administrative, logistical, and operational assistance needed to execute their work.

 

BENEFITS

The Spring 2020 Internship will begin on January 6, 2020, and end on May 8, 2020. With the exception of our Legal Department, all interns will be required to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday in either our Chicago or Washington, D.C. office and will receive a modest $3,000 stipend to offset some of the expenses incurred to participate in the program.
