The Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) is a research centre established in 2016 with the ultimate aim to develop multidisciplinary studies at the University of Jember. The establishment of CHRM2 is part of the University of Jember’s strategic Centres within Southeast Asia to promote research and collaboration in the specialized areas of human rights with cognate disciplines.

ROLE AS A VOLUNTEER OR INTERN 

Potential Positions

1. Language or Content Editor for JSEAHR
2. English teacher at the University of Jember
3. Graphic Designer
4. Public Relations
5. Outreach Coordinator
6. Field Researcher
7. Research Assistant

Expectations for Interns and Volunteers

1. Commitment
2. Leadership
3. Initiative
4. Flexibility

 

REQUIREMENT

1. Undergraduate or master’s degree (or work equivalent)
2. Academic or work history demonstrating interest in human rights, multiculturalism, and/or migration
3. Must be a native English speaker
4. Indonesian language is not required but is a plus (opportunities for language classes at the University of Jember)
