2020 AREAi’s EduVolunTour Seeks Volunteers in Abuja for it’s EducationInBottles Program
At AREAi, they believe in the universal and fundamental ‘Right to Education’ for every child, regardless of who or where and therefore, over the next 10 years, their vision is to leverage collaboration, technology,
and innovation, in creating multiple alternative and informal learning and employment opportunities for 10 million out-of-school children and adolescent youths.
Central to this aspiration is our plan to repurpose PLASTIC BOTTLES, or bottle brick technology, is providing alternative learning spaces which will run as community hubs in hard-to-reach communities where there are no educational infrastructure or access to formal schools are non-existent. These informal community centers will help us deliver accelerated learning programs that will aid the development of foundational literacy, numeracy, digital, leadership and entrepreneurial competencies for out-of-school children, at-risk youth and vulnerable women.
