2019 British Council Newton Fund Researcher Links Workshop

Deadline: November 30, 2018.

The British Council Researcher Links programme provides opportunities for UK and international early career researchers to interact, learn from each other and explore opportunities for building long-lasting research collaborations.

Under this programme, the British Council and FAPESC will be holding a workshop on the above theme. The 4 day event will be held at Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária e Extensão Rural de Santa Catarina (Epagri), Brazil, from 4th to 7th February 2019.

We are now inviting applications from Early Career Researchers from the UK or Brazil to attend this workshop.

The event is being coordinated by Dr Luis Hamilton Pospissil Garbossa (Epagri, Brazil), an expert in hydraulics and sanitary engineering, and Dr Paulette Posen (Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science (Cefas-UK), whose expertise is in spatial risk modelling. Sessions will include contributions from other leading researchers from both countries, with combined expertise in the fields of epidemiology, water quality, hydrology, hydrodynamics and mathematical modelling, thus providing a unique opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking across disciplines.
