Wanakaset African Women’s Scholarship at Oxford University

Wanakaset is a non-profit organisation founded by an alumnus of Saïd Business School’s 2000/01 MBA class.
The ultimate objective of Wanakaset is to create an ecologically balanced environment, with the greatest possible varieties of trees, plants, animals and micro-organisms, where human activities are in harmony with nature.
In support of the Oxford Saïd’s commitment to greater gender equality, recognising this as a key ingredient to a more balanced society, this scholarship was created to support an African female MBA student.
ELIGIBILITY
- Female candidates of African nationality.
- Awarded on the basis of academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards and other academic achievements.
- Candidates should also demonstrate good leadership skills.
SCHOLARSHIP VALUE
The scholarship worth of £30,000 is awarded.

- There is no fixed application deadline for this scholarship.
- All eligible offer-holders will be considered after each MBA admissions deadline until the scholarship is awarded. Therefore early application to the programme is recommended.
