Wanakaset African Women’s Scholarship at Oxford University

Wanakaset is a non-profit organisation founded by an alumnus of Saïd Business School’s 2000/01 MBA class.

The ultimate objective of Wanakaset is to create an ecologically balanced environment, with the greatest possible varieties of trees, plants, animals and micro-organisms, where human activities are in harmony with nature.

In support of the Oxford Saïd’s commitment to greater gender equality, recognising this as a key ingredient to a more balanced society, this scholarship was created to support an African female MBA student.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Female candidates of African nationality. 
  2. Awarded on the basis of academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards and other academic achievements.
  3. Candidates should also demonstrate good leadership skills.

SCHOLARSHIP VALUE

The scholarship worth of £30,000 is awarded.

APPLICATION

  1. No additional application is required. They will use the details you supply in your MBA application form to determine eligibility.
  2. There is no fixed application deadline for this scholarship.
  3. All eligible offer-holders will be considered after each MBA admissions deadline until the scholarship is awarded. Therefore early application to the programme is recommended.
