Deadline: January 21, 2024.

The United States African Development Foundation (USADF), in partnership with the United States Department of State Africa Bureau, invite applications for the 2024 African Women Entrepreneurs Program-Reimagined  grant.  This is the second application cycle for this grant and only applicants from the following countries may apply: Namibia; Mauritania; Senegal; Cote d’Ivoire; Malawi; Uganda; and Zambia. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Applicants must be woman-owned to be considered and 100% African-owned and managed.
2. Legally registered and operating in the country from which they make application, with basic functional management and financial controls for at least 3 years and banking history of no less than 12 months.

REQUIREMENT

• Majority (OVER 50 percent)woman applicant-owned and managed –
• 100 percent African owned
• In operation and legally registered for at least three years 
• The business is located and operates in a designated USADF program country.
• Successful UEI approval
• Proposal for use of grant money
• Business owners are not government employees.
• Income generating entity (cannot be not for profit)

GRANT VALUE

Award: USD$50,000 – USD$100,000 to each of the selected winners
