2024 Eisenhower Fellowships Women’s Leadership Program (Funded to the US)
Deadline: February 15, 2024.
In fall 2024, Eisenhower Fellowships (EF) will assemble an accomplished group of 20-25 dynamic women leaders from all professional fields working to strengthen civic participation and good governance and invite them to the United States for a unique nearly six-week program.
The 2024 Women’s Leadership Program, EF’s fourth since 2010, advances women’s leadership and gender equity as core dimensions of the Eisenhower Fellowships mission, two areas of renewed emphasis now woven into the fabric of everything they do.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- The 2024 Women’s Leadership Program is open to outstanding candidates from every country in the EF global network.
- If an applicant does not reside in or have citizenship in a country where EF is currently active, they must demonstrate that their work has regional impact and obtain a written nomination from a member of the EF global network in order to be considered.
- Typically, Fellows range between 32 and 45 years of age at the time of fellowship. Strong proficiency in English is required.
- They seek female trailblazers with the maturity to take advantage of this unique opportunity and effectively represent Eisenhower Fellowships, who can draw upon this experience to catapult themselves forward as impactful leaders.
BENEFITS
- Fellows will develop their leadership skills, foster interdisciplinary professional relationships and launch concrete collaborations of impact to better their societies. Fellows are selected based on their track record of leadership, their potential for future impact and their commitment to lifelong engagement with Eisenhower Fellowships to advance our mission of enhancing international understanding through dialogue to build a world more peaceful, prosperous and just.
- Before the fellowship begins, Fellows are expected to devote significant time to research, preparation and planning in consultation with the EF program team, followed by several virtual introductory and orientation sessions. In-person travel across the U.S. will take place in October and November 2024.
