Since 1995, the German-Asian Programme has offered annual fellowships to Asian and German journalists aged 28 to 45.

For the first time in 2023, IJP will offer a fellowship programme exclusively for Japan. 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. Journalists between the age of 25 to 45 years, who regularly contribute to newspapers, TV and radio media as well as online services, can apply.
2. Very good English language skills are expected, German knowledge welcome, but no prerequisite.

BENEFITS

All delegates of the programme receive a one-off payment of 4,000 Euro from IJP. This should cover most travel, food and accommodation expenses as well as health insurance.
