
2021 Cybersafe Foundation/Areai Call For Nigerian Digital Skills Trainers

The Cybersafe foundation in partnership with Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative is organising a digital skill training as part of her Cybergirls Fellowship which is aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of girls in Nigeria by providing IT high demand skills through intensive training, mentorship and internship/job placement opportunities that will lift them from poverty.
PROGRAM DETAILS
The program also seeks to empower girls from underserved communities with globally sought-after cybersecurity skills through our fellowship program; positioning them to start a career in cybersecurity and seize work opportunities within Nigeria and across the world. This fellowship will produce a crop of very hungry but knowledgeable budding female cybersecurity enthusiasts, who’ll need to get their hands dirty to hone their newly acquired skills in the following niche areas: Networking, IT security Audit, Incident Analysis/Response, Penetration and Vulnerability Testing, Security Intelligence and Web Application Testing.
ELIGIBILITY
- Must be a resident in the following states: Adamawa, Cross River, Enugu, Kaduna, Kogi, or Oyo State who will facilitate Digital Literacy Skills Session.
- Must be fluent in the local language.
BENEFITS
- Financial Stipends will be available to cover transportation costs.
- Trainers will also be provided with exciting branded materials.
