2021 Cybersafe Foundation/Areai Call For Nigerian Digital Skills Trainers

The Cybersafe foundation in partnership with Aid for Rural Education Access Initiative is organising a digital skill training as part of her Cybergirls Fellowship which is aimed at improving the socio-economic well-being of girls in Nigeria by providing IT high demand skills through intensive training, mentorship and internship/job placement opportunities that will lift them from poverty.

PROGRAM DETAILS

The program also seeks to empower girls from underserved communities with globally sought-after cybersecurity skills through our fellowship program; positioning them to start a career in cybersecurity and seize work opportunities within Nigeria and across the world. This fellowship will produce a crop of very hungry but knowledgeable budding female cybersecurity enthusiasts, who’ll need to get their hands dirty to hone their newly acquired skills in the following niche areas: Networking, IT security Audit, Incident Analysis/Response, Penetration and Vulnerability Testing, Security Intelligence and Web Application Testing.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Must be a resident in the following states: Adamawa, Cross River, Enugu, Kaduna, Kogi, or Oyo State who will facilitate Digital Literacy Skills Session.
  2. Must be fluent in the local language.

BENEFITS

  1. Financial Stipends will be available to cover transportation costs.
  2. Trainers will also be provided with exciting branded materials.
