The Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship is designed to nurture young and emerging policymakers keen on transforming Uganda’s startup ecosystem. They’re seeking highly passionate and qualified individuals to conduct in-depth research and produce valuable, high- quality policy papers that will scale and support the emergence of Uganda’s nascent startup sector.

To graduate, fellows must;

• Attend atleast 80% of the module days
• Participate in at least 8 out of 12 mentorship sessions
• Submit a final policy paper approved by KAS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Must be residents in Uganda (nationality not required)
• Demonstrated interest in policy and innovation.
• Suitable candidates may come from; Entrepreneurship, law, journalism, policy, technology, economics, engineering, business
